Come--open the gate

And step through the wall
Into my garden.
I'll take your hand
And share with you
All the unique and exotic flora
growing there.
You can walk my pathways
Through heartwarming shows
Of color.
Take a long, deep breath
And smell the scent of nurturing.
The soft, sweet aroma of care
and patience.
Forget your worries and reservations
And play hide and seek with me
In the warm, safe labyrinths--
I'll even make it easy
To find me.
There's a clear, cool, everflowing fountain
Where you can quench
Your thirst,
And my gazebo is always open
And beckoning to you.
Don't let the swing lie idle
Or the beauty go unappreciated.
Come--forget your fears
Open the gate
And step through the wall
Into my garden.
