They danced in Firelight

those Old Souls whose 

Beings lit up the 

faces of the

straw men.



As the Rocks stood firmly

grounded upon the Site

that was to be their

memorial to Earth

and to Fire.



Dancing then they gave Truth

to the Lies that would

follow them through

the Winds of Time

and Eternity.



For what do We know of them

but that we know nothing

yet Wiser Men will say

they attest to all 

of our Inborn

Ignorance.



And as Witnesses they stand

and dance in the Firelight

along with our Dreams

of Flight through

Eternal Flames

with them.
