I watch out my window and see the hot flames

Of a setting sun which is never ever tamed
It passes behind low clouds and shows haze
And them comes in front and I become dazed
By the fury which burns a hole in my chest
And with its fire - never comes to rest
Just as the ire and passion within me
Haunts me as I stay tied so to my tree
My arms pulled hard around and behind
As the pain which sears thru my mind
Binds me to this fuzzy old worn chair
And the fury within me makes me stare
At hard-edged clouds which hang there still
As much on fire as my mind is now drilled
Open - as grains of sand are poured in
And visions of dancing crabs now fling
Their pincers at friends who don't flinch
Neither do they give even one little inch
For they see not the burning within me
As they are too occupied with being free
And so they should - for - after all
Sunsets really burn daily, and then cool
