Agreeable Speakings Christopher W. Thomas (tristram@erols.com) dnb-as1s09.erols.com Wed, April 2, 1997 at 8:41PM |
When voices connect
It puts new complect
On weaving of souls
Who try so to mold
Their complex minds
With hearts of kind
Words who use them
To shore and blend
Their own visages
Within new pages
So others rage as
Rocks stand ageless
And realization comes
There are some who're numb
Who cannot quite fathom
Words in such chasms
And so we attract
Ones who're stacked
With muddled views
Who sit and stew
Perhaps we're better off
With less known to scoff
And then focus instead
On only those who've read
And choose to then sound
Words they've been around
Amd can come to grasp
Thoughts which do last.
