The words which go down upon paper or screen

Are based upon feelings which sometimes seem

To speak to the minds and souls of some others

Who have crossed paths in past with the authors



If this be the case, please do remember one thing 

It is only to YOU - these stated feelings do ring

Bells in your mind because of the past exchanges 

Which you might have enjoyed with these strangers



But please remember these hurts are only perceived

Because of stresses in your soul which do bleed

Do not make assumptions which have no real merit

And then assign back blame and then re-stir it



This achieves nothing but mixes up really two minds

Your own, and the one you've attacked - who's blind

To the assumptions and interpretations you've made

For their objective had nothing to do with your days



So live them out fully without this pain in your heart

And do not get your passion rekindled from pure art

Do with your life as you and you alone see fit to do

And leave out the mind of a poet who fits not your shoe.
