We all do it - every one of us here on the planet

Decisions are made about what's important to set
In order and in front of other things in sequence
And so we do it, and relegate others to legions -

The mass of lower priorities then become quite old
As we then go on in search of those which are gold
In our minds, and thus ... we follow closely those
We have placed on order from our heads to our toes

So it us with all the people who everyday we meet
Some do come across as hard or bitter - not sweet
And so we relegate them to the back of the pack
Choosing to focus on the sweet ones who do tack

Out their messages of kindness and solid support
For these people are the kind we need so much more
And so we do place them in a higher place in mind
For they have shown consistently they can be kind

If there is something wrong with this persuasion
Much is wrong with those who see not the equation
They are living lives with blinders around heads
So cannot see the forest and only the trees instead.
