Living Life in a Bubble

When we enclose ourselves in a bubble

We entrap our minds and souls in trouble
For we prevent our total interaction
With others who have given sanction

To our habits, clothes & personalities
And thus walk in another path which frees
Us from identification thru names & labels
And so then we can do anything we are able

Within the confines of the cyber universe
And thus we don't even have to rehearse
Things we write and the things we do
For if it all goes wrong & makes us blue

Then we can walk out of it and come back in
As something else we've concocted - a mask thin
Which may hide our more recent discretions
But it really does nothing at all to lessen

The deception which we are now carrying out
As we pretend we are a whole new person about
But the truth is we are always the very same
For the personality doesn't change - therefore
it's all a game!
