There are some who do believe
Words work better if they bleed
Oozing out of us from slight wounds
Which have been caused thus by rooms
Filled with pain, hurt and suffering
Which have attacked with no buffering
Thus they ponder over them and squeeze
Instead of letting them in on a breeze
But others who deal daily with words
Voice them ... not just to be heard
But to speak eloquently about matters
Before they disintegrate into tatters
If this ability to feed them about
Causes others to attack and shout
Then the problem is in interpretation
And has little to do with consternation
Words which come freely on all matters
Aren't any less powerful if they rattle
On over stanzas and amass a body of work
They just prove there's much to yet perk
Up minds and stir emotions, and passion
For everybody has them - in like fashion
Some can voice them in words which insult
Others shrug them off with a pinch of salt
If you don't care for words which speak
Then don't make the author feel bleak
It solves nothing, and hurts really two
Both the attacked, and the attacker too.
