There are more subtle twists and turns in life

Than there are grains of sand - in a sea of strife
We turn one corner, hand in hand with sureness
And around the next - comes another lure, less
Filled with spite or anger, which has gone before
And much more complete - filled to brim, as a store
After connections which left me abandoned once more,
I found one other which boosted me up with a lure

Of positive feedback - on Kings and other stuff
And allowed me to bloom, and feel bright enough
As knowledge was imparted, and opinions exchanged
And never did I feel in any way at all lame ...
The night was filled with very sensible thought
As I beamed and fluttered without being distraught
No games, no romantic liason thought about or made
Just two sensible minds sharing ideas in the haze
Of dawn's early light - as it pried open my eyelids
And I saw once again, I'd had quite a night of it

My steed had folded and thus stabled itself well
And ambitious plans I'd made had taken a back shelf
But all is okay, even so - in the castle of this knight
For once again - pain I'd shunned had thus taken plight
And I saw once again - good people who do now abound
As I surfed the net, and chatted - just one more round.
