There are some people who know how to write

And then there are others who aren't bright
Who can only write the things they do know
Some of it is paltry, and some puts on show

But the really good writers are those who care
And write with passion and have a definite flair
Who can write just about anything under the sun
And with it all ... have some really good fun

It is these talented people who write with gusto
For these writers, at least - everything is just so
And tell stories, and make observations profound
Some with witticism, some which can really astound

For they are so in tune with themselves and so mind
Everything which rears its head, and so do in kind
Deal with things as they come along - one by one
For they have a treasure - which is strong by the ton

When you find one who is such - keep hold and touch
For these kinds of hearts and minds aren't any slouch
They are warm wonderful beings who sit down on couch
And talk about all kinds of things in terms which vouch

For their own sincerity, and as they do - they unfold
So much wonder and awe about their knowledge as told
Within the confines of a home environment so lovely
They can make anyone feel at home who's recovering ...
