Sometimes we deliberately say things with so very many parts
They all wrap around and over each other in fits and starts
And the resulting twists & turns are spiralled in such a mess
It is sometimes tough to see where the jumble begins - a test
Of our good nature for now we have to find one end and follow
It to the other end, and hope it won't take till the morrow
When we've found it - we can tug lightly on the end we have
Knowing full well this will pull through to other as we save
The ends of this quite so jumbled-up mess and thus straighten
All parts which have heretofore been in a similarly misshapen
Muddle which has begged so to be relieved of all the confusion
With its tugs this way and that, which do tend to make contusions
