Lost connections are so very, very, VERY frustrating

All the more when it occurs in the middle of knowing
Someone you feel you may have a great kinship with
For they have shown themselves to be able to give

Understanding, warmth, compassion and even humor
For they're willing to be on a par with you & your
Ability to communicate in so complete a fashion
For you do so openly, honestly & without trashing

Anything anybody says in any way - for you're pure
Something you've come to be - as you have matured
For realization has come there are many persons
Who deserve respect no matter what they're missing

And if you then lose your connection with them
You might never ever again have a chance to hem
Up the seams around edges of cloth you've weaved
And realization comes you now have been relieved

Of the chance to complete a wonderful piece of work
Which you did start before the break made you shirk
Through no fault of your own for you'd been cut off
And then you wonder whether you'll ever be so soft

And so immersed in such complete feelings of wonder
Which you felt as you did with spell become under
And so you did then cry out in such complete angst
For something did get in the way of your thanks

Of being so completely immersed in your connection
That you tried so hard to get back to the confection
Which held you in such a firm hold with its sweetness
That you did want so much to become one with meekness

Which held you in static position as you became immersed
In the limbo which was yours without any line rehearsed
And then as things seemed to be bounding along nicely
All of a sudden the break interfered as you priced the

Value of a wonderful new relationship, budding blossoms
And then it happened ... and you felt like pc tossing
Will there ever be a time - when this will not happen?
One wonders why it never occurs on walls which snap in

To place so we can use them to deliver our good thoughts
On things as diverse as love, nature & feelings which ought
To put some perspective on the very need for this opus
For now we must realize this situation is not hopeless ...
