To each person who interprets written work

It becomes a chore at times to follow the perk
Which is offered sometimes without any challenge
But - at other times - there is much to manage

Sometimes, I see simplistic and direct verse
Which makes plain, straight-forward points, terse
At others, images are so complex, and all-involved
One wonders if they can ever be of value, or sold

For they conjure up multiple images which layer
Up idealistic phrases which do mix in with prayer
And hope and great wishes filled with suggestion
That the reader do consider and then make mention

There is appropriateness to some of these thoughts
That can wind up establishing things which ought
Be considered in future connections of like minds
Who see, understand, and are not in any way blind.
