All day long, the radio station has been drifting ...

And earlier in the week, my spirits were lifting
There were some very good moments, and some not
Like pretend freeway traffic which didn't stop

Now there is word other problems do also exist
Nothing I have anything to do with, I insist ...
But I suspect there's a trickle-down effect ...
Seeping into minds, causing some acts suspect

And so, it becomes imperative, now, to change the course
To alter things as they are, and ride another horse ...
For this one is galloping away and jumping fences ...
And each day, there is new word of yet other expenses

So it's become time to install a new aerial outside ...
One which will not drift quite so much, thus diminishing my pride
For no matter what else happens within these four stone walls
The best thing is the sound of radio waves well-installed ...
