Floppy drives and mouses don't use the same interrupts

Yet, some systems seem to hang up these devices abrupt
Allowing recognition of only one of these things or t'other ...
Meaning you can either point ... or save to disk, until you discover

What it is which keeps the floppy drives at bay whilst you're pointing
Or holds you back from the mouse, touchpad or trackball anointng
Interaction between the graphical interface and you - the user ...
Frustrating the hell out of you until you find yet another bruiser ...

Being that problem in our lives which takes the higher priority
Than coaxing the best out of a computer system's seniority
For as much as they each are supposed to indicate exactly what's wrong
Like many people you meet ... all these things really do is just follow along
