With a warm song in the heart ...
The trees get ready to part
With their overgrown coat ...
As leaves sever and float
And as the coat layers down
Over all surfaces reknown
It begs us now to rake them
Into piles - so to bag, then
Disposing of their mounds
Which take over our towns
At this time of the year ...
Loving all those leaves dear
- Tristram
