Green, brown, and yellow leaves now abound

But the oranges and reds have run aground ...
Fall has spun its tale as chapters are ending ...
The song of the season we've been attending

And those vivid colors which have so impressed
Have now largely come and gone - All the best!
They were breathtaking in their scope and hues
But now they've evolved ... bringing the blues

Colors so bright and beautiful, all around, to see
Have made their show, and now those lovely trees
Will take another year to get to an identical frame freeze
But that's okay, as, any year ... it sure is a sight to please!
