The time's been off all day long today

One of those days when you get to lay

For an extra hour, at least so they say

But if you do, in some way you'll pay



Dogs still have their own internal clocks

If you don't adhere, you might have to mop

And this could upset the rest of your day ...

Making that extra hour a pain if you stay



And then the rest of your day goes awry

As things go wrong and you wonder why

It all really comes down to that extra hour

Which really did not give you extra power
