Sometimes, one steps up gear in middle of night

As the days are filled with tasks in another light
And words with structure do not float in the air
For vibrations have thinned objectives to a stare

Then it all reappears after sleep cleanses mind
And verses then vibrate, brimming over eyes blind
As gears gradually turn faster and cogs engage ...
Setting up the workings of an uncurtained stage
