Now the geese have congregated in smaller groups

Sets of seven keep cropping up at each walking loop
It seems they feel safer in smaller numbers at a time
And they look more secure, too - which is just fine ...

Two seven-sets in the upper baseball field nibble
Each minding only their own group - a new fiddle
One seven-set hovers around behind the post office
Another down by the lunchtime picnic tables wanders

Two more over at the pond at the base of Mount Ebo
It seems the water's too cold today to enjoy the flow
So all these magnificent sets of seven do their thing ...
And everybody else must drive or walk around to be in
