That old couch ... fitted in the room well

But, over the years - it sunk and swelled

Losing its shape ... as many escapades

Took their toll, and games were played



Now, it's gone - replaced with yet another

A virgin - all white, with unsnagged covers

It doesn't really fit in the room at all as well

In fact - the change it makes is hard to tell



From a stylistic point of view - it's at odds

But, that's okay ... for twas time for new togs

The thing that really makes it a trump card

Is (quite simply) ... the best part - it's hard!!!
