Coming up the hill a little while ago

Passed a house in mid-paint - a show!
For a new darker blue had been used
Leaving half the house cyan - a groove!

For the mid-line had been marked vertically
With the two colors separated right up to frieze
Reminding one of those black/white face masks
Actors and mimes use, to make points and laughs

But here was this effect on the front end of a house
Separating it into two halves - as cute as a mouse
At least - the kind drawn in cartoons and comic strips
Which are sometimes so funny-looking ... you just flip!
