In the blink of an eye

Moods change and die
Motions then attest well
To the pride and the swell

We all absorb reflections
And create our reactions
Some are quite contrived
(Those relating to our pride)

For we feel we must don airs
To promote our very shares
In our own preserved dignity
And so we feel we stay free

[ But some of those new vibes
Entrap us well inside ... ]

Best to stay open and thaw
Even tho' we have just cause
For our own perceptions
Are colored from inception

In order to see the real canvas
We need to peer under the mess
Below the painted image there
Which so changes our stares ...
