Days bleed energy from your body

Mind tires, lightening access roads
Depleting reserves, slowing hobbies
Body tears at mind, going it alone ...
Feet ache with the intensity of fire
As senses are stirred, mind's muzzled
Words are silent, making heart a lier
Tongue vibrates ... jarring the puzzle
Sentences then ripple across the page
Forming objective truths for interpretation
Or, perhaps - memories of another age
Or, it could be - vital facts of stipulation
But, chances are - they're slanted one way
The way the body and mind leans today ...
