Well ... again, there it was - just another bunch of hype

A scare put into us by the media to make things not bright

Warning us to batten down our hatches and tape windows

All because of a comimg storm which has now sunk below



Amidst new warnings of another lady hurricane about to hit

This one they're calling Danielle (as in Steele) - quite a treat

Somehow, they skipped the male whose name began with "C"

Coming straight from Bonnie - hopping right over that one "he"



Seems to me they made those new rules quite some time ago

The one about alternating male and female names in a row

As they go down the alphabet letter by letter - one at a time

Always giving equal time to both genders - so all would be fine



And yet - here we see today the male's been given short shrift

For "he's" been skipped over entirely - getting no mention or lift

And chances are - so will Danielle - disappearing into the east

Just the way Bonnie did - as she came up the coast and eased ...
