Hey, Lil Deuce Coupe with the cream flange

Where is it around here you usually hang?

One of these days I'll just have to hunt you down

Your smooth streamlines sure are fun to be around



I love that slightly deeper shade of red you express

And the cream flange around your skirts is quite a test

So much patience was required to make that bold stripe

I would've loved to be there to watch - would've been nice



And the omission of all the chrome and other clutter

Adds to the sporty feel your clean lines tend to offer

All viewers who admire and lust after you from afar

Wishing they, too, had such a sporty and classy car



And I love those fine blue pinstripes under the tail-lights

A neat touch which sets the lenses apart, going left to right

Why, they're even more visible than the lights themselves ...

Which are so damned small, I almost climbed up on your shelf!
