A new catch phrase has become prominent ...

It tickles the mind - changing temperament
To do with "suiting your sophisticated lifestyle"
A phrase that reverberates for miles and miles

It's easy to swallow, and invokes a sense of pride
Which so many of us need - way deep down inside
For we often become slaves to certain patterns ...
And many of these keep us sliding on a track some

Never fully appreciating our very own accomplishments
Many of which help make that picture an establishment
For the goals we can attain reflect a certain good taste ...
At least - some have that (those of us who do not waste)

And it's not always so easy to see this at the first glance
Particularly, if something untoward makes you look askance
And then - you miss the cream which does not rise to the top ...
As the flavor you tasted blocked your view, so you just stopped

- Tristram
