There was a time when there were rides

Upon a poor soul who just desired to hide
And now - desire exists for some recognition
But it seems more like a retirement to oblivion

There's a willingness to take it as it comes
Even though it's apt to make one feel numb
But, assessment of words shared rings so true
Especially when they don't give you the blues

- Tristram
