A pleasurable walk in park this morn

Until dog saw ducks and ran after 'em
Straight onto pea-green surface ahead
And then went down - feet full of lead

For the pea-green surface gave way under
As the dog's running room became a blunder
For she slowly sank as the ducks floated away
Becoming an instant Titanic as ice floes strayed

Now she's barking her head off chained outside
Drying out the stink from a murky pond's ride
Covered head to toes in a thick green slime
And all because she acted without taking time
