So many factors go into making good sound
Clean signals (antenna, decent patch cords)
Matched inputs, even response to the ground
Solid speaker lines, neither too long nor short
Good quality recordings which're well mass-produced
Or if they're your own - levels high enough for the juice
But without distortion - a perceived nuisance to some
Too much of which will leave one feeling quite numb
But levels must be high enough to eliminate all the hiss
Plus produce dynamics good enough so one doesn't resist
A tricky balance it takes some years (even decades) to perfect
But once achieved ... the results garner a great deal of respect
