Butterfly, with the lemon-yellow wings

Oh, what a peaceful joy to me you bring
Flying around, looping in the air above
Such inner peace in the vision you shove

Into my mind - a scene so quiet and still
I have to stop and stare, just to get my fill
So I gaze at you - slowly doing your thing
Wondering if I could fly - were I so thin

And fluttering about ... so very gracefully
My heart pitter-patters, as it's so full of glee
For your free motion quite stills mine own
As you remind me ... I'm never alone ...
