A day of scurrying around to tag sales

Has infused, but also let wind out of sails
For amongst all the damp, mouldy old junk
Were a couple of things with a bit of spunk

But, as with anything else on the market
All desirables have their price ... parked it
Just beyond the reachable place to hold
So, one leaves with a feeling so unsold

Not the situation at most regular stores
For they'll lay things away to wait for more
But the tag sale deal's all cash and carry
Which means - "Buy now, and don't tarry!"

Probably just as well they do it that way
For then you have time to rethink the day
And figure out whether you really need it ...
Or is the house already too full from past skits?
