This poem is something of an important note

As it is, in itself, a landmark of things I wrote

It becomes the thousandth work posted here

A small milestone, which brings some cheer



Perhaps, now ... the body of work as a total

Will earn some honor - at least, I'm hopeful

Regardless of whether this happens or not ...

The fact is - for over a year - it's never stopped
