We make appointments in our minds

Then, we resolve to deliver on time
But - just what is it we do with it all?
Have we just created stress on call?

Life can be so easy and uneventful
If only we take things away from pulls ...
The ones we create in our own minds
As well as the ones making us climb ...

The ladders we scale are self-imposed
Coveting, saying we have to have those
But none of it is important enough to lessen
The real value in life - which so glistens ...

Relationships we build with a few others close
(The ones who share themselves nose to nose)
For those - there is no imposition of our time
For those wonderful folks can have it all ...
and that's fine!!!
