Sometimes, it's better not to make snap decisions

For doing so, might cause some small derision
When one thinks things through and ponders all
One can then redirect thoughts to reflect those calls

Some, you may have reacted to quite badly in the past
But when you've thought them over, you field the task
Preparing yourself to put things right the next time around
For no matter what, it's good to have those other sounds

And so you decide to consider well all of the alternatives
Then you can re-orient yourself, coming up with superlatives
Changing the course midway, and mapping out new directions
For then those new ways of seeing things, might pass inspection
