We itemize and then categorize ...
But, sometimes, we become quite surprised
To learn not all is, as it, at first, seemed
For not everything's so simply gleaned
Some of the things we perceive to be just one way
Are, in fact, something other than our interplay
For when we take the time to figure it all out
We will see the overall picture's not that stout
As some things tend to cross right over the line
While others only border, but are really quite fine
Assumptions made, without holding all of the facts
Can be self-deprecating, and nobody needs that
So we must ascertain, directly, for ourselves
Those good objectives, which make us meld
This can be done with all of the facts in hand
Instead of allowing others' opinions to stand ...
