There's a fence being built at house on the corner

A white picket one, with two gateways adorning
Now the fence has started to come all the way around
Edging down hill towards me, in all the ruts and mounds

Trying to follow a road corner which is gently curved
Is a task of undertaking with more than a little verve
For fixed wooden fences tend not to follow the bends
Unless wood is somehow curved at the mill to make ends

How it will work without this specially treated wood
Is something I shall follow closely to see just how good
A curved fence will turn out when installed between posts
It should be quite a sight to see when all's done by the host
