Where now will you stay

On this brand new day ...
Are you really there for me
Or are you only a breeze?

You've passed my way before
Floating along with open pores
Oozing sensations from within
Showing them on top of your skin

I reached out to touch and to hold
But you considered me too bold ...
So I backed away and hid in anger
All a mask over the imminent danger

Giving you time to be on your own
And so you were, at least, in the zone
And now - you come right out of your hiding
And I feel myself gently backsliding ...

Even though it's a brand new day and season
There's no hope, here, without a good reason
For after those stalls of the past - the wrecked ship
... Slowly sunk into oblivion, quite hard hit ...

- Tristram
