Hazy, hot and humid - has been the menu item for today

As we've suddenly been launched into the base of summer's ways

And the discomfort it causes us, was felt both outside and in ...

Ending floods we've experienced over past three months of spring



Plenty of rain we've had, to help vegetables, fruits and trees grow

Not to mention the grass, which we'll now have to mow and mow and mow

But it also filled up reservoirs, springs, and wells, so we'll have plenty fresh 

Which we will definitely need, now that summer is here, with all of its tests
