A cool and clammy day has today befallen us

Chilling bones and tightening our muscles, plus
Giving us feeling we need just a little more heat
To warm up bodies, and make our hearts beat

And yet, the wetness verges on summer stew
Providing hesitation to do so, even though blue
So reservations are made to withhold motion
And live with the clamminess, using the potion

Knowing full well the damp could break the bank
And yet, dealing with tightened bones with thanks
Flexing and unflexing joints with nimble movement
Assuring ourselves there is plenty left to tune into ...
