Pupils of blue surrounded by brown
Sparkling back at me when I am down
Shaggy brows above the pools of love
A warmth emitted from look of a dog
A tail wagging so hard to show devotion
The whole package is a familiar lotion
An almost stern look is in those two eyes
But filled with love and loyalty ties ...
A bearing so very regal and so grand
A posture filled with her goodness at hand
Wanting to hug her and hold her close
Yet knowing smothering's not her show
