Hitting the nail on the head is not something one relishes

Although realizing you've gotten another into a pickle, says
Quite a bit about the honesty one deals with in relationships
Directness exposes nerves and sensitivity causes quite a bit

- Of reactivity when forthrightness hits extremely close to home
And suddenly you find yourself holding a dead phone and alone
Now you've made your point and the nail has stuck in quite deep
But what have you accomplished by it and is the price too steep?

Can you turn back the clock and swing the pendulum to the center
Or is the move you've made so drastic you'll not be able to re-enter?
Have you hurt too much by sharply cutting through all of the bull ...
Or is it just a temporary setback - and in time you will have it all?

The answer will come in time - for life tends to produce solutions
For as we move in and out, day to day ... we do provide absolution
It comes with the passage of time, things will tend to come back around
Just make sure you're ready for it with feet planted firmly on the ground
