Passing by the neighbor up on the hill

Is seen the richness of fuller head still
Where he dug up the ground and reseeded
In about a four foot square, where needed

And now that grass has come up so lush
Looking so rich in deep green, hushed
Am I, and just a little envious, to be sure
For grass will not grow in my yard so pure

All I get is weeds, and brush, and other stuff
Grass surely lacks because there's not enough
Rich soil, devoid of all the roots from giant oak
Which are embedded in the soil, and so, do poke

Up through the top layer, making lush grass a dream
Preventing any real substance to a neat lawn so green
And so any real fuller head which ever comes to me
Is in the cultivation of thought processes - quite free ....
