Stitches made around openings
Thru which buttons slide, hoping
They can hold together the flaps
Connecting betwixt this and that
Folks tend to do the same thing
Whenever they find bells that ring
Then they slide snugly into holes
Sewn shut, to keep out the cold
Fitting rather well into the slots
Which have some parts, some not
But, just like buttons, so imperfect
Folks know how to make holes fit
