Oh, old tree with roots so visible
Why is it you grow so incredible
Your brains hang out over edge
Some quite loosely, no wedge ...
To make them grow into earth
So they unravel freely, unheard
Silently winding down onto road
Some growing across to show ...
You have your freedom to, just as all
God's creatures, who have their call
Many doing just exactly what you do
Laying down roots, without any shoes
