Purples, blues, pinks and yellows

Chrysanthemums, bright but mellow
Flowers all round and firm in shape
But large in size, to make one gape

Bushes full of them standing alone
In middle of gardens at some homes
Filling the air with their lively color
And their scent, quite yet another -

Pleasing note to awaken senses
Making forget all the past tenses
And filling mind with lovely vision
Giving hope, affirming decisions

Praising the wonder of nature ...
And so glad to be part of picture

- Tristram
