A man who affected so many lives

Has now gone on to place in sky

Singer, actor, abundant talent

Many wondrous moments sent



To an adoring public crying out

For much more to make us shout

They came in ample recordings

So many songs to hear and sing



Along with - to make hearts glad

Even tho, some were quite sad

But most were pretty ballads

Some mellow, some salads  



All were wonderful to hear

Day-in, day-out, in any year

But this moment is the saddest

For there is no more of the best
