Dreams start in mind's eye

Hopefully, then, never to die

Altho, sometimes they flicker

As mind's not always quicker



So we, sometimes, have trouble

Catching up, amidst the muddle

Checking this direction and that

Losing sight of the burning map



What we need do, then, is refocus

Away from all of the hocus-pocus

Redirecting our minds to intent

Fired by wicks burnt at both ends
