Some see a wonderful man, full of good cheer

Others see pomposity, then make their leers ...

Trying to figure out which one you really are

Is something which tugs at mind, and mars



Sleep processes, and drains mind with pain

Knowledge of both stirs, and turns you plain

As truth, perhaps, lies somewhere in-between

And this realization makes quite another being



Weighed down with a truly good sincere intent

To find another with whom to share life's bent

And channeling energies towards this good end

Perhaps, makes little sense, unless folks tend ...



To focus in on those good qualities which seep

Out from under a skin so tender, and yet deep

Underneath, is a complex interwoven structure

Steeped in solid values, with many tinctures



Seeing them all ... takes quite some long time

But patience is fully rewarded by things sublime

Investment so made, returns ample exchanges

Some of which'll be mind-opening to strangers



And thus - tunes played with words and thought

Then become a new awareness of things brought

Home to minds open to all life has to offer around

And then one sees the beauty in all of the sounds



Then awareness of something wonderful becomes

A way to evolve beyond thoughts which numbed

And the open mind and heart then welcomes all

As all past exchanges then recede into mindpool
