Flames of delight

Exchanges made

At night and day

Warms in shade

Of even still rays



Thoughts of cheer

Hearts quite dear

All so very near

Less lonely fear



So much blessed

Yet come tests

Of dedication

As supplications



Of heart and mind

Beg for the kind

Of return of fire

To emblaze dire



Concerns to own

All thought shown

Even tho shared

In order to care



All is still here

Attached near

To a hearthside
